[/u][/size] The Williams Academy for the Arts was built back in the 1800s in a small town in Colorado. Originally it had started off as an orphanage owned by a man by the name of Victor Jane Williams. But due to unsanitary conditions it had to be closed down soon after it was opened. After years of dilapidation and becoming quite, quite torn apart the building was inherited by Victor's son who then decided maybe the best idea would be to make it up and create a small school. As the years went by the school began to expand and become more well known.
Of course the publicity to the school had made it seem like it needed more. It didn't need to be just a high school, but something more. Something to reach out to the students and help them with their future aspirations and careers, thus the Academy was born. It was to reach out to every student that could afford or earn a scholarship to the school, meaning the students practically work themselves to the bone to get good grades--and it shows! More than ninety-percent of the student body that graduates from this school actually goes onto college and lead a succesful life.
Any artistic abilities that are wanting to be improved are welcomed here--whether you came here on a scholarship or are paying for your learning, all are treated the same.
